one of the four original Lake Superior Life Saving Stations. Located on Lake Superior
between Whitefish Point and the tiny ghost town of Two Heart. Because of its isolated
location this lighthouse is hard to access. Today only the tower remains, but at
one time there was a lifesaving station and quarters, oil house, two barns, boathouse
and landing, tramway and lighthouse tower. The Crisp Point Light historical Society
has been formed to restore and preserve the light.
