Fort Gratiot is MIchigan’s oldest lighthouse. It is older than the state it self,
Michigan was admitted to the Union in 1837 and the lighthouse was established in
1825. Still in operation today, it is now a Coast Guard Station. Located on Gratiot
Ave near the Blue Water Bridge.
