The Port Sanilac Lighthouse, built in 1886, has a unique brick facade that rises
like a set of steps from the center of the dwelling to support the brick chimney.
The eight-sided brick tower, has unusual brick work that flares outward to hold
the lantern room and its shiny red roof. Now a private residence, you can view it
from the pier at the end of Cherry St.
